Poreč , Istria.
Poreč became a good choice for us to spend another several days in Istria. It was an ideal base for us to explore a few hill towns in the more central part of Istria.

Lazy days & fun in the sun on the Adriatic Coast.
The downside of travelling for this length of time is that you don’t always have time to properly look into all the destinations you are about to visit. Zagreb cafés, the sequel.
Most mornings after our gym routine it’s been fun to venture out looking for new spots to have our first cup of kava. Discovering all of what this city has to offer on the coffee scene is a full-time job! What we enjoyed most about doing this, other than having coffee is exploring all the different corners of the city.
One important point to mention is that the majority of these cafés also serve alcoholic or other types of beverages, besides coffee. They are nice spots to enjoy a nice glass of wine.
Our two posts on cafés will be a great way for us to keep track of the unique cafés we’ve visited and enjoyed. This will assist us when we return to Zagreb. And believe us there will be a next time! Let’s start this second round at Finjak.
Road trips.
Since arriving in Zagreb we’ve done a couple of bus trips outside the city and one walking trek to a beautiful serene place just a bit further from the city center.

Come meet us for coffee, in Zagreb.
As Andrea will tell you, in Zagreb you need to drink your coffee, slooowly… AND with a friend.
Falling in love…with Zagreb.
Okay, so they give you a map of the best places in the city to steal a kiss 💋. What does that tell you about this city?
Bernard, gotcha! I quite like this map, especially when I can catch my hubby off guard.😊
